I have always had a passion and drive for this industry.

I started my journey at the age of 16 and grew from there.

I worked hard to build my knowledge and expertise. By tapping into some of the industry’s best talent. I have had the privilege of joining a network of industry guru’s, along with having a business coach.

Then becoming a business coach myself.

Education plays a big part for myself and the team, I am passionate about supporting my team and inspiring them to evolve into the best version of themselves and become the best professionals they can be. Here at Wilkinson Smith we offer our staff a softer working week so they always stay fresh, and we pride ourselves on listening to each guest that comes to visit us.

Rachel is a true colour creative, specialising in vivid and statement-making colour. With an exceptional understanding of colour theory and a passion for creativity, she creates bespoke colour that is as individual as the person wearing it.

From bold, vibrant transformations to soft, unexpected pastel tones, Rachel combines technical expertise with an artistic eye to bring even the most imaginative colour ideas to life.

Meet Ruth, Senior Stylist & Award Finalist

Ruth is one of our rising stars, and her talent, dedication and passion for hair are already making a real impact. Now a finalist in four hairdressing awards, her commitment to developing her craft is truly something to celebrate.

With a particular talent for hair extensions, balayage and smoothing systems, Ruth combines technical skill with a fresh, creative approach to every client.

Always looking to learn, refine and push herself further, Ruth keeps up with the latest techniques and trends while never losing sight of what matters most — creating beautiful hair and an exceptional client experience.

Martin

Creative stylist

Meet Martin, Senior Stylist

Over the years, Martin has built a loyal following of clients who value his exceptional attention to detail, technical expertise and genuine passion for creating beautiful hair. His experience has also seen him involved in professional photo shoots, continually pushing his creativity and skills further.

Martin believes there is always more to learn, and his commitment to ongoing education keeps his work fresh, precise and continually evolving. For him, great hair is about more than how it looks — it’s about how it makes you feel.

Away from the salon, you’ll usually find Martin out on the open road. Cycling through the countryside is where he feels most at home, enjoying the freedom, fresh air and time outdoors.

Meet Niamh, Apprentice Stylist

Niamh is at the beginning of an exciting career in hairdressing, developing her skills and building her confidence every day. With a natural enthusiasm for hair and a genuine passion for learning, she brings a fresh energy to the salon.

Working alongside our experienced team, Niamh is gaining valuable hands-on experience while learning the technical skills, attention to detail and high standards that are at the heart of Wilkinson Smith Salon.

She is curious, hardworking and eager to learn, embracing every opportunity to develop her craft and grow as a stylist.

Ruth is amazing and she explained everything that would be done to my hair and she was checking i was happy every step of the process.
