Been going to Ruth for around 2 years now and have always been over the moon with my hair! She always smashes it out the park and makes me feel amazing! She really cares about the health of my hair whilst still making it look gorgeous!

Just had to share how lovely and professional everyone at the salon is! So knowledgeable and gave great advice about colour, styles and after salon care. Had a wonderful experience from the moment I walked in up until leaving the salon. Also highly recommend the red light therapy they offer! I learn so much each visit and love the relaxing atmosphere while being able to chat about everything and anything.

Julie has been my hairdresser for many years, and I can confidently say she’s the best I’ve ever had. She’s the first person who has truly mastered cutting and styling my curls, making them look their absolute best. Julie is also a legend when it comes to my daughter’s Afro curls—she knows exactly how to work with their unique texture and always achieves stunning results. I have been visiting Julie @ Wilkinson Smith for my hair for many many years. She is professional, and above all extremely knowledgeable about hair. She has a vision on what works, does a great job with a warm and friendly approach. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!! Also Mia does the best hair washes and head massages. Very relaxing. It’s not just a hair cut it’s an experience.

I've walked into a salon so many times with a picture of what I want. "Sure" they say. Do I get that result? No! In February I did the same with Julie. Her reply? "I can do it but it will take alot of effort in between colours and won't really suit you if I'm honest". I trusted Julie from that point. I walked out happy after my first appointment, even though Julie said wait until the next one (my hair was really damaged). Today I didn't get the look I originally wanted, what I got was better! I love my hair and I know it's healthy too!! For anyone wanting the perfect colour and cut - go see any of the team at Wilkinson Smith as they're all invested in the result of each, individual client. You won't regret it - allow all day as they won't let you leave until they've reached the right result!

Julie and her team always make me feel welcome . They seem to go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want and offer great advice. The knowledge and expertise is what you pay for and they deliver every time. Always keeping up to date with new products . Having your hair coloured and or tinted can be stressful but Julie did a fantastic job 😊 Martin always cuts my hair fabulous. Wouldn’t go to anyone else . Above & beyond … with Julie & her team .. it’s so much more than client/ hairdressers . Julie , truly listens . Observes & creates a profile of the client. Discusses each idea , & step of the way . More importantly, asks you for feedback / thoughts . Each consultation you are asked if anything you didn’t like or loved after the last visit . The journey for me , was un doing , of some previous ‘hick ups’ (not Julie’s making) . Each trip , I discover it is possible to have the cut & colour. Best to compliment my age, characteristic’s . There was once a well known cosmetic brand that run with an advertising campaign.. where well known celebs , quoted ‘now for the science part ‘ . Julie knows her science of the products , and uses her knowledge in such a pleasurable way .
